The staff with a service mind

excellent service from beginning till end. all the staff were willing to assist in all matters, paying attention to all the details and always with smiles.
food in restaurants and room service was so and so (we didn't like greek food very much). the lobby is decorated in a modern "nature" style, nice and modern. the elevators are small with glittering stars like in a night-club. the corridors are dark and narrow with worn-out carpets. we would rate it a 3-star hotel only by the looks of it but the service was so outstanding that we were ok to give it 5 stars!!!
Tip om Sightseeing/Seværdigheder:
Book tours at the hotel front desk. Half-day tour of the Athens City, half-day tour of Cape Sounion to visit the Temple of Poseidon. One-day tour to Argolis (Mycaenee and Epidaurus) to visit the 4th century BC ancient theatre and to Delfi, UNESCO's world heritage site/the temple of Apollo. Fly to Santorini, the most beautiful island on earth : rent a self-drive car or have a chauffeur-driven car! One whole day to try the "metro" or underground trains, the trams, the buses.. see the change of the guards and feed the pigeons in front of the Parliament and finally buy all your souvenirs at the "Plaka Shopping Center" where you can get tax-free cash rebate.

great location but not very friendly staff
Walking distance to Acropolis

it is an old 5 star hotel but for the location to acropolis it is quite good.
it also have a retaurent with full view of acropolis and temple of zeus from the roof top restaurant
other than that the surrounding of the hotel does not have any shop/convienient store

το ξενοδοχειο ηταν κοντα σε ολες τις τοποθεσιες του κεντρου, η μετακινηση σε αυτους του ποορισμους γινοταν ανετα με περιπατο χωρις να κουραζεσαι. το φαγητο στο εστιατοριο ηταν τελειο (ιταλικο), οπως επισης και το πρωινο το οποιο ηταν πλουσιο και ενα απο τα καλυτερα που εχω φαει. ολοι οι υπαλληλοι ηταν ευγενικοι και ετοιμοι να δωσουν τις απαραιτητες συμβουλες.
