If just walk only 3 minutes to get bus no. 5 which takes you directly to the airport. A starbucks is only 10 min. away along with some great restaurants. 9,3 We enjoyed our stay at the Excelsior Hotel. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Maybe a little small for some people but fine for us. The room was very clean. There was free internet and also free tickets for the public transportation. The breakfast buffet was simple but nicely arranged. They had scrambled eggs and sausage with several different types of bread. They also served some canned fruit or fresh fruit. I highly recommend this hotel as a very excellent hotel for the price. You won't be disappointed. Tip om Sightseeing/Seværdigheder: If you are going for a tour at the United Nations Building. You must make reservations ahead of time. One tip is not to get off at the Bus stop in front of the UN where the flags are but take the bus number 28 up the hill which will be close to the entrance where you need to Register or enter for your tour. This walk from the Flags is all uphill and very tiring. You will save your energy by taking this bus and then you will only have a short five minute walk to the gate for the Tour entrance or for Registration.

Enlig rejsende Malaysia, 9. december 2012	Great location but noisy Good location as it very near to the main train station and shopping (opp. Manor) 6,3 This is great location for those who travel by train as it is just 3 min walk from the station. It is also a good place to stay for shopping as Manor department store just opposite. One thing that I would like to mention is that I can hear the noise from next door.

Good location, clean room, travel card provided to every guest 7 The location is good with walking distance to main train station and old town. The room is neat and tidy. The hotel even provide every guest a travel card. As our room was facing the road, it's a bit noisy.

Rejse som par Switzerland, 14. oktober 2012	Good location, good value for money in walking distance to everything 8 The hotel is well located, a bit away from the railway station on the way to the lake. Staff was super friendly, and we got a daypass for bus /tram for free. The room was nicely furbished and the bed very comfortable (we asked to change room to get a double bed, but this was no problem). Bathroom was spacious and convenient. All in all a very good value for money, especially at the weekend where room rates drop considerably. The only drawback was the noise on the street at night, there is a bar downstairs and it was a lot of shouting at night. But maybe this is only on weekends (and we were in the 1st floor). Anyway, I used my earplugs.

Lars H. Rejse som par Sweden, 9. september 2012	Downtown location Location 7 We mainly chose this hotel for the good location in downtown Geneva, only a few minutes walk from the lake. The hotel is also conveniently situated close to the railway station as well as to trams and buses. Breakfast was so so...In the vicinty you will also find a big department store with an excellent assortment of local delicacies. You might want to buy at least your lunch there since Switzerland is infamous for its high rates.
