Tip om Restaurant: The room service menu is limited but good.

Par Australia, 27. januar 2013	Smiles, but no service Good location 3,7 Staffed by lovely people who smile alot - as we were in Brisbane in the aftermath of Cyclone Oswald, we couldn't venture out on occasions so eating in was the best option. However, room service takes over an hour to arrive, is cold and comments regarding this are met with complete disinterest. Rydges also need to realise that they are situated in an area surrounded by alternatives to eating in their restaurants - the prices should reflect that. It is handy to Southbank and the CBD - but then so is the Mantra....

Clean, easy access to City, car parking nearby (incl valet), adjacent Convention Centre & Southbank Parklands 8 Easy check in, room was clean and good size, shower over bath (bathroom a bit small & dated). Otherwise good value for money.

The hotel was clean, fresh, well maintained and presented. I was delighted with its central location and the easy access to so many facilities and activities. The refrigerator in our room was not cold. Tip om Hoteldetaljer: Make sure you enjoy the hotel's delicious smorgasboard breakfast after a great walk along the riverbank to the Botanical Gardens.

Also has good restaurants nearby on the South Bank and can catch a movie and/or a play at the cinema or theatre less than five minutes walk away.

They have a nice outside pool with a lounge area around that you can casually access and enjoy coffee or drinks from the bar. The room is simple and neat, equipped with minimum necessary kitchen wares including microwave oven. The only thing was that the wifi in the room was so expensive, so I had to go down to the lobby every time I need internet.
