Great Value for Money”
Mike, the guy managing A Little Bird 2 Guesthouse, knows what customer service is. He allowed me to check in early at 8 am without any hassle, told me about the facilities at the guesthouse (complimentary coffee!) and gave me a map of Chiang Mai, that had nearby landmarks highlighted, before I had even asked for it. He was always very eager to help and ever so cheerful. I stayed in the dorm. It was basic and clean. The bathroom facilities were good and clean too. You can relax on the rooftop or in the cosy common area on the ground floor. This guesthouse located near North Gate of Old City and is a few minutes walk from restaurants, shops and a few nice clubs (e.g. North Gate Jazz). I loved A Little Bird 2 Guesthouse and their great customer service (thanks, Mike!). It is great value for money and I would stay there again when I go to Chiang Mai.

All around lovely stay!”
I stayed over 2 weeks, and have only good experiences there! Most travellers are coming through pretty rapidly, so I had a chance to meet many new people who were all happy to chat & go out together. The bathrooms, common areas & dorm rooms were all kept completely clean. I booked my onward travel to Luang Prabang at the front desk with ease, & they had so many option to keep your time in Chiang Mai filled, as well as any tickets to head to your next destination for a great price. Also, the wifi was super fast & reliable and the aircon was available in your rooms whenever you wanted to use it during the day or night. I hope that you enjoy your stay there as much as I did!!

it's an unbelievable experience staying in a little bird!! very good location, 5 minites' walk to the center antique city, and the room is great, with air -condition and clean bed and everything a packager needs, it has a wonderful roof garden, where you can have a sight of the temples nearby and talk with guests from all over the world..and it provides us with great convenience! we can reserve our tour, minibus to other places and almost everything with a reasonable price. ps. the owner is a great guy from hk, but when he is not in, the only one that orders in everything is a lovelt little cat!!i miss him/her!!

A very reasonable price for a dorm bed in a good location. Basic facilities but definitely adequate. A dorm of 10 shares 2 showers and 1 separate toilet. Only a five minute walk into the centre of Chiang Mai and 10 minutes from Sunday street market. Main quality is the friendly and helpful staff. Always willing to answer any questions, give advice or to contact trips or Taxis for bookings on your behalf (can be very useful if the language barrier proves difficult with certain companies). Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cheap and cheerful stay in Chiang Mai. Ideal for backpackers.

Clean facilities and friendly staff ”
The staff were very helpful in answering all my questions about the city. The rooms were very spacious, the largest dorm type rooms I've been in. The location is also great, it's right outside the Chang Phuak Gate and close to the songthaew terminal going to doi suthep. Local food stalls also set up nearby for affordable dinners. The only complaint I would have is the stiffness of the beds. They looked so new (even covered with plastic) that I would think they still needed breaking in. Otherwise the rooms were great, with each bed having assigned 2 sockets for charging your electronics.

The guesthouse is nice and for those on a small budget it's perfect. location-wise you are just at the edge of the bustling city centre of Chiang Mai, with several temples nearby. there is a 7/11 2 minutes away and a food market every night. The staff are very kind and sweet. My only dislike was the bathroom and shower facilities as they may need some work, they don't feel clean although I did see the cleaner clean them in the am. I would recommend this hostel for short stays in Chiang Mai :)

Nice! If u r chinese and travel alone, a little bird 2 would be a good choice for you! Equitements are clean, and the most attractive point is close to Sunday market!!!!!! From the airport to hostel just take you 40b via shuangtiao within 15mins. BTW, if u r planning to have a tour, u'll be advised to compare with more travel agents.

Helpful, nice and friendly staff”
I really like the fact the the staff of this hostel are kind and helpful. I came in earlier than the check-in time yet they accommodated me and did not ask for early check-in fee. On the first night, I slept early. I didn't know that the tour agency contacted the hostel staff. When I woke up, I saw a note on my bed relaying the message from the agency. I appreciate that the staff always accommodate my concerns and questions hence getting around Chiang Mai became comfortable and easy.

when i reached at the guesthouse with expectations of little discomfort due to cheap rates. but as soon as i met the hotel staff and saw the cleanliness in the rooms and shower i was amazed how they could manage all this in such low cost. it was really very good staying there and the experience there was much more than the money i paid.

Good guesthouse to visit chiang mai town center”
Basic confort for the dorms and shower, but the price is really cheap and you even have toasts, jam, tea and cofee! Very nice staff, giving good advices to visit chiang mai and reserve some guided tour. Nice comon place and roof top!

Loved my stay! The price was a HUGE upside to picking this place! Super cute place with the best staff that is very welcoming and make you feel like old friends. PERFECT location. Quiet, right outside of old town, food market around the corner, lots of places to eat from super cheap and good to western prices and styles. I loved that a daily and monthly membership gym (and healthy food place outside it) was 2 blocks away as well as a great working space. (my favorite in the city), towards the city is a great jazz bar with live music every night just 5 minute walk.

firstly ,if you are Chinse ,and can not speak any English,than this is the one.but if your English is great and want to meet foreigner friends ,may be its not a very good selection.but people is really nice here,and area is great.I like this place.they got clean room ,nice people ,air conditon..every thing you need,and price is reasonable.

nice small simple guesthouse”
This small guesthouse is located near the Nordgate close to the food night marked. the small lounge downstairs is a nice spot and the staff sitting there is just awesome. Nice and amazing english skills. The only bad thing i remember are the quiet hard beds and pillows. But everything else is fine.

this hostel is perfect and so is the staff .thanks mike ! therea is ac in all rooms at your dispense . lockers and a little kitchen that is always loaded with tea and cofee along with free toast and jams in the a.m . its just near a night food market with bomb and cheap food . also near the sunday market ... its on a street of hostels as well so plenty social to be made .

Great for a Minimalist or Budget Traveler. The basic Essentials”
Nice Firm Beds, Full Time A/C operated at your own discretion in the room. Free breakfast includes Bread, Jam, Butter and Tea. HOT SHOWERS. Full time access to hot water for Tea and a fridge to store food. Basic area in lobby to relax and chill. Also they have information for tours and will help arrange. Prices are great and its best just to book through the hostel. the prices are the same everywhere. I extended my stay and ended up staying a total of 11 days
