"Had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Hotel staff picked us up at the airport and transported us for free to the hotel in just around 10 minutes. Staff accommodated our special request - that for a room facing the pool - without extra charge and made sure we got the twin beds and non-smoking room that we requested although we booked online at a discounted price. No welcome drink upon check in, but you may grab a banana or two from the front desk. The room was spacious and clean, the tv was big and with English channels (including cartoons!), and the minibar was quiet (no loud humming). Free bottles of drinking water. The bathroom was big enough for dancing in - if that's your kind of thing before showering! - and the shower felt like the rainshower kind. The beds were nice, though sleep could have been nicer with an extra pillow on each bed. The room had a porch overlooking the pool and it was big enough for lounging in for drinks. The hotel felt family-friendly. Breakfast wasn't friendly to those with dietary restrictions and not worth the 150 baht charge per head. We opted to instead take the free shuttle van to the airport for breakfast at the foodcourt there. Turned out well, with a filling breakfast to be had for as litle as US$1.50. If you're fine with hotdogs and chilled sandwiches for breakfast, there's a 7-Eleven just a stone's throw away from the hotel. There are also "tea shops" nearby selling the usual Thai street food, but they don't open for breakfast. This is a nice hotel to stay in if you just want a layover 'til your next day's flight or if you have business near the airport. But it might be a tad too far if you plan to go shopping in downtown Bangkok and will be staying for a few days. Unless you're fine with daily taking the free shuttle van to the airport and from there catching the train that goes to downtown Bangkok and vice versa. "

"When I first enter the room, I found little pieces of food on the table, so I called the operator to ensure if my room has been cleaned before. I actually don’t mind removing them by myself but I was concerned about the hygiene due to Covid-19 situation. The operator said that she has no idea, she needed to ask the housekeeper. Then, another staff visited my room to pickup the pieces of food. He apologized and left. I asked if my room has been cleaned or not. He said it was an empty room and he has no idea about it. After I checked out and left for an airport. I found my ID card missing, so I called back to the hotel front. I told them that I do need the ID card to take a flight that morning and requested to have a housekeeper checking for the ID card in my room. The operator told me he will do so and call me back. It’s already another day. I’ve been back home after a very difficult situation at the airport. I never get a call. Actually, the hotel is nice and fully facilitated. The room is kind of small but lovely and convenient. The location is good. The promo price is the best. All the staff treated and talked to me very politely. But, their service is obviously careless. I hope they mind this review and improve. Then, it would be very perfect."

"We chose this hotel on our way back to Chieng mai because of its location (near Airport extress train and MRT). We had a really wonderful time there! Check in took less than 3 min. They had all my details and my requests were perfectly met. The room was very clean and nicely decorated with 'real' wood floor and oversized windows. Bed very comfortable. Good water pressure with fantastic toiletries (natural lemongrass scent). With this quality, this is no doubt one of the best value hotels in Bangkok!"

"We loved our four night stay at The Residence and would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, upscale stay in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The rooms were spacious and spotless with great facilities and a comfortable bed, and the kitchenette and washing machine came in very handy (only bummer was there was never enough hot water to have a bath, so we didn't get to use the gorgeous tub). Decent selection of English cable TV channels too. The rooftop pool area is awesome, and we spent most mornings after breakfast up there swimming and lying by the pool reading before heading out for the day. There is a great sauna and onsen but unfortunately it's only available for the men, so my boyfriend was loving it while i was pretty disappointed. There is also a water cooler in the gym area which helps if you're like us and want to limit your use of buying plastic water bottles. The breakfast is served in a hip cafe where you get high Western standard cafe meals like eggs benedict, french toast, lattes, etc, plus small buffet of extras, which was a highlight and one of the best breakfasts i've had a a hotel in Thailand. The location is about 20-30 mins walk from the BTS station, but it's a very pleasant walk with no touts, just a nice stroll through one of bangkoks more upscale neighbourhoods with plenty of massage, restaurant and street food options. Tuk tuk will take you from the hotel to the station, and coming back you can just jump on one of the motorcycle taxis which is a lot of fun and will only cost you 20 THB to the hotel door. Overall, this was our favourite hotel in Thailand during this trip over the Christmas period and we would definitely return, and highly recommend it."

"Felt safe and secure and they always were where they could see the comings and goings. They have a place to eat that is good and cheap. There was even security coming into the parking area 24/7. It isn’t a five star but it isn’t priced as a five star. I will return myself and stay at 14 Mansion again. The Hospital is right next door and a 1 min. walk if you need a doctor. Shopping is very close. It is very Thai but it is in Thailand after all. I did enjoy my stay there."

"Great hotel and location we stayed twice recently firstly level 27 newly refurbished rooms that are very nice and modern, following week we stayed on level 21 older rooms but still very nice, staff are lovely polite and very helpful Sometimes a little noise (music) but never really disturbed us, breakfast was nice as to is other food on offer in restaurants, shops close for odd bits you may need, cleaning service good and I would highly recommend this hotel, our young son enjoyed the children play area, hotel is a nice safe environment My only gripe (I’m sure Fraser Suites is no different from any hotel in Bangkok) is the taxis refuse to turn on meter for price I know this is the norm in Thailand but illegal it would have been perfect but for allowing this, that said when we return to Bangkok I will certainly use Fraser Suites again very very nice and enjoyable, great staff "

"Citadines Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok hotel is the best i have ever stay , the service staff is good and the design of the hotel make us very comfortable . they also have tuk tuk to bring us out and we also don't ned to wait long time for the tuk tuk, as for the room is so comfortable it really let us feel like staying at home . the room is really good design and everything we need they all have it really nice to stay in this hotel. "Nestled away down a peaceful side street of ThongLor yet amongst the centre of Bangkok's best neighbourhood. The design & quality of fittings is that which you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. It's so peaceful here with sound proofing walls. The staff from receptionist to the security, house keeping & manager all conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism. To say it's a bargain would be a vast understatement."
