" Thank you Savoy Boracay! My family and I had such an exceptional stay in Savoy Boracay. Everyone was so accomodating, friendly, warm, and always had a sincere smile on their faces. We went to Boracay to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and the guest service associate Jess arranged a complimentary birthday cake for her upon our arrival. Mich and Patricia were so helpful in arranging our room accommodation that would cater to my family’s need. The view in our room was breathtaking.! When we entered our room, the front staff (Patricia, Carmela, Uriah, Yam) surprised her with a birthday song, balloon, and cake. My daughter was so happy! The hotel pool is a good alternative to relax after a long day of exploring the island. The private beach is beautiful. It might not be as lively and exciting as the white sand beach in station 1,2,3 but it is clean, and safe. You can also go for kayaking or go for a quick and relaxing swim. We truly had a wonderful stay in Savoy Boracay! "

"Start with the positives, the view, the staff and the room. We had a huge room which was really nice and new. The staff were so friendly and always willing to help out. The negatives for me was the fact you can’t swim at the beach in front of the hotel, there is massive big black pipes, which I think would have been nice to know about through more transparent images about the resort. We were really upset with this. It’s definitely something the government are trying to fix/do up, but not great turning up to see this. The pool is good but not really somewhere you want to lay around for hours, it also wouldn’t accommodate lots of people when busy. The sun lounges wereright in front of the restaurant, so would feel a bit weird if you’re keen to relax and sunbake. This meant we spent no time at the hotel during the day and had to get a day pass to a hotel at the far end of the island who had better facilities. Location is good being away from the craziness that is main beach but a bit sketchy at night, u wouldn’t feel safe as a single woman walking into the pitch black. I’m also not keen on recommending Boracay due to the immense amount of over tourism that is occurring. It felt chaotic. Saying this, some people love this so nothing against the hotel I just hope the island is able to fix everything up and turn back the clock on the ecological damage that’s happened. All up, the hotel is really great and a good option for those looking to hang out in town, if you’re looking for more facilities, this may not be for you. "

"Really a good deal for your money with daily breakfast included, even better than the breakfast buffets we had on numerous occasions in Hawaii. Everything at the hotel is in excellent shape. My son loves the beach in front of the hotel and also the hotel’s swimming pool. The staff is so nice and extremely helpful, especially Ferdy the food and drinks manager and Rene the restaurant staff. When my son needs milk before he sleeps Ferry makes sure it’s delivered to our room every night and the staff even washed his milk bottle for us a couple times because we forgot the bottle brush. They totally went out of their way to make us feel so welcome and have an enjoyable stay. Our first time to the Philippines and Boracay, didn’t know what to expect but now I’m really glad we picked it the Astoria Current. Would definitely come back again in the future!"

"literally right in the middle of boracay island at station 2. this large, chinese owned and operated resort has one entrance on the main road with easy access to laundries, a department store, supermarket, korean restaurant and fish and chips restaurant. the second entrance is right on d'mall with dozens of boutiques, restaurants, souvenir shops, and a kodak photofinishing shop. breakfast was bountiful and healthy. two apple computers available for guest use for free. beach towels available for pool or beach use. hotel rooms are spacious, have a minibar, aircon. the hotel is not handicapped accessible, with cobblestone grounds, no elevators, and 3 storey buildings. watchout for being charged for the temporary henna tatoo marks on any bedding, towels, or pillow cases. i was charged for complete new set of bedding and towels because of the stains from the popular tatoos that exceeded the cost of the hotel room. no warning signs or statement from the staff, so this is landmine that might spoil your stay. southwest arranged transportation from kalibo airport to boracay hotel and return for a reasonable price and eliminated waiting in line and having to deal with four to six different services. "Even though the hotel is an old cottage style, this is my favorite hotel in Boracay...The ambiance is much better than the high price hotels near by....The Customer service is great...They take care of their guest well.....The Food at the restaurant is great with good service from some of the waiters, some needs a little more training on speed of service....But Overall, A great hotel and wouldn't mind coming back here each and every time I go to Boracay...Even the security guard goes above and beyond customer service calls....."

"I stayed at the Turtle Inn for a short trip in March 2014 in Boracay Island. The staff were extremely kind and offered a beverage on arrival (Which was well needed). The hotel itself was located in Station 3 and a short 500 metres to the beach. The staff in this hotel were the reason why my stay was so good. Very attentive and kind in every request. Overall, if you want to stay in a hotel away from the busy tourist area of Station 1 and enjoy some company with hotel staff, this is the place to go!"
