"I have stayed at many hotels in Chiang Mai on business trips. This one was by far the best in the downtown area near the Night Bazaar. For me, location is very important in Chiang Mai. This is the best hotel in the location if you want luxury at a good value. The food here was very good also. This was our first time taking young children with us to Chiang Mai. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the children who were ages 1 and 3. We will definitely come back to the Centara. We love Chiang Mai."

"we live in dubai but we travel to chiang mai at least once a month as our children study in boarding school in chiang mai. we stay in many many highend places in chiang mai which were really nice and pricey. after we found "lotus pang suan kaew chiang mai" and stay here, it's just right about the location, safety, service and the hotel offer all guests free pick up from chiang mai airport too! we went back ther more than 7 times already since march 2011 and we booked the rooms with "agoda.com" only because so far this website is the best price and the best promotion (free room upgrade) compared to the others. i can pay 3 rooms per night as equal price as one night only @ the hotels i stay in chiang mai before. our family from uk also love this place, it's look gorgeous when you take pictures. "Chiang Mai Orchid is one of the oldest big hotel in the city. Its location is convenient for me who has business to do with Chiang Mai University but for most tourists, it might be more convenient to stay over the Nimanhemin Road for your night shopping/dining. Although the room and facility look a little too aged, the hotel is very big and they have pretty much most things we need....it is just not in the most stylish way as many other smaller boutique hotels in Chiang Mai will offer. But the hotel restaurant offered a very nice local food in a very reasonable price. The breakfast buffet was also nice. In conclusion, although this place might be old and does not offer the fancy look to the visitor, it is clean and convenient."

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the D2 Chiang Mai hotel. It does not have a "colonial" charm like some other hotels in Chiang Mai but is of esthetic modern design. As we are always for work in Chiang Mai and not for pleasure we especially enjoy staying at this hotel. Rooms are clean and have a shower stall which we prefer over a bathtub. Only negative, the TV flat screen is rather small, but the comfortable bed makes up for this. Will stay here again for sure next time..forgot to say: the breakfast is great too...albeit not included in the price."

"This hotel is my favourite hotel in Chiang Mai. Every time I visit Chiang Mai I prefer to stay here. It has the best location n that is one of the reason that if yoiu do not book well in time its hard to get a room. Nice spacious rooms n bath room. I always enjoyed the breakfast. The location is good one close to many attractions. I would recommend it to all travells whether solo or with family to stay here. "

"Everything was great except there are many mosquitoes at this time ( April) in Chiang Mai so remember to bring along anti mosquitoes gel. Breakfasts (BKF) were excellent. The hostel changes BKF everyday sometimes there are delicious traditional cakes. Cold water is free at reception. In Chiang Mai you can use Grab ( car or motorbike) service. It is very handy so do install grab app before your trip and buy a 3g sim upon arrival ( 5 USD for 8 days ) at the airport that would be perfect for your moving."

"I stayed 4 nights at Brique hotel. It was my best hotel in Chiang Mai. I couldn’t express what an outstanding hotel, the location, facility, service, breakfast restaurant and the front staffs. Boss and Yuka were very helpful. Breakfast selection with many delicious choices ( omelette station was a plus ), pool was big and clean, room is huge and bright... with all that, they have bike for you and only few mins walk to Big C ( super store ), and others shops. It was a quite town but only BTH90 o/w by grab to Old City. I regretted so much that I moved to Night Bazaar hotel for my 5th night in Chiang Mai. Should have stay at Brique Hotel. "

"There are plenty of cheaper places in Chiang Mai but that is not to say that Roseate was expensive. I found the hotel to be great value for money based on the above average standard and facilities. The room was a really good size so we could spread our stuff out and not literally have to live out of our rucksacks, also room service and fresh towels every day. In terms of location, Roseate is on the road just inside the rivee that surrounds the 'old city' of Chiang Mai. Within a 5 minute walk inwards, you soon come across both popular tourist and local restaurants, shops and massage parlours. Needless to say there is also a 7-Eleven just 30 seconds away also. Overall Chiang Mai is a lovely place that caters for couples, families and also travellers looking for a good time, particularly Zoe Corner. Also you must go to the Elephant Sancturay :)"
