"I have stayed at this establishment many times, and as hotels in Hong Kong go it is good value for money. However Hong Kong being Hong Kong, tariffs change at the drop of a hat, and if there are any trade shows upcoming it is best to book well in advance. The Regal Group only seem to be found in HK and mainland China, and teeter on the edge betwixt four and five star. Personally I always find the experience to be thoroughly delightful and would recommend this hotel to all"

"Spacious room in outskirts of Hong Kong - Hotel is close to a light rail stop which you can take to transfer to the MTR station.(or you can take the convenient bus shuttle). Being relatively new hotel, the facilities, hallways and rooms all felt new and upkept. We were travelling with large pieces of luggage, and staff were quick to help with carrying while we checked in and out. They also helped to call a taxi for us upon check out so we could make our way to our next location. Overall very positive experience, and would definitely consider returning."

"i had a very nice stay at this hotel, again. i have stayed many times here in the past and keep returning as it a reliable and enjoyable hotel to stay at. the rooms are beginning to show the signs of usage but have been maintained well and will not take away from your stay. beds are very comfy and bathroom is great. the rooms are a bit smaller than others in hong kong but is still comfortable and room for two people and their luggage. the front desk staff is polite and willing to help you with anything you need. cabs are fairly easy to catch right outside the hotel to take you anywhere in hong kong. the only con i have for this hotel is the price. it seems to keep raising even though the hotel remains exactly the same. besides that i would stay here again as long as the price was reasonable."

"It was our first time in Hong Kong so we decided to get a 4 Star Hotel. After arriving at Hong Kong airport it took us a few minutes to find the Harbour Center Counter, but after we found it, we felt taken care of already. Cost us HKD$140 each for the airport shuttle to the Hotel, it was a fairly large bus, and it only seated a few of us. This is where we learned that the Airport Shuttle caters to other hotels too. Think of it this way, if you have large bags or luggage, a few bucks is worth it when going to and from the airport because you are going to walk a lot. My bag was a large duffle and it was 24 lbs. and I was so grateful I opted for the shuttle going to and from the Airport. Plus, you get to see Hong Kong more from the bus, unlike when you take the train which goes into the subway after the first 5-6 stations. When we arrived at the hotel, check in was a breeze, they just get the impression of my card and thats it, there was someone who helped us get our things from the bus to the check in counter then from the check-in counter to our room. But be sure to give a separate tip to the one who carries your bag from the bus to the hotel, because it will be a different person who will bring your bags up. The room was quite big/clean compared to other Hotels our friends stayed at. Their's were around 21 sq mts, ours was about 28 sq mts. they were complaining that they had traffic going to and from their bathrooms, while we were comfortable in a King sized bed, we had a stocked mini ref and we had cable. Only problem is internet costed around a HK$100/day. We only stayed at the hotel to sleep and bathe mostly, but we would've loved to use the gym and the pool. Both were clean and complete. Maybe because there are monthly tenants staying at the serviced suites of the hotel. They had a sauna but I didn't get to use it. My girlfriend was able to use the pool, her only complaint was that it wasn't heated. We are coming back, soon. "

"This is already one of my favorite hotels in Hong Kong. The location is great as it is quiet, there's a bus stop around the block for the Airport Express Shuttle Service, and it's just a few minutes away fro Tin Hau MTR Station. The room we stayed in was spacious and decorated perfectly. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom though just needs a bidet to be perfect. For the price though, you get more than your money's worth."

"must start with - splendid breakfast - reminded me of my past life in england. we were on tour to china and had our return flight from hong kong, which is just 45 minutes from shenzhen in china as opposed to above 1.5 hours for guangzhou - for international flights, and thus had just one night to spend in hong kong. earlier we thought to save some money - looking at average room rates in hong kong. but as they say "you get only monkeys, if you throw peanuts", we were shocked with room size and bathroom size (was there one really?? i think all previous travelers had to take shower while performing their pooh pooh show) in hkd 500 - which is a good amount of money for a nice room in china. instantly, we purchased a local sim card for internet (smart tone hong kong it was, just in case you're interested - hkd 48 talk value in hkd 48 retail price and hkd 24 for a 24 hour internet) and searched hotels in nearby areas.. we found langham plaza and royal plaza - as we were at argyl street of hong kong. both were five stars and thus we chose a little less expensive one.. royal plaza but were really touched with the comfort in room and splendid breakfast. though, he hotel was under maintenance that time - we were provided with two set of ear plugs (along with a mentos in each set) at reception to save our sleep in the morning but we didn't have to use them also, the manager in dining area was really nice.. it was 10:25 when i showed up for breakfast. she came up to me and told they had extended breakfast time for by minutes to 11 am so i could i call my partner from room or just fill in a few dishes for him and keep with myself. anyhow, my partner didn't show up till 11:10 and i hadn't stored anything for him. the manager still offered a personalized service by offering anything he wanted from breakfast menu.. meat, freshly cooked egg/omelette, bakery, fruits, juices, muffins, etc etc etc.. overall, a recommended hotel for all kind of travelers to hong "

"I could honestly say that our four days stay at Imperial Hotel in Hong Kong was a very pleasant experience. The hotel staff was very accommodating. You don't need to fall in line for so long. The staff moves very fast and checking in the hotel is really no problem. The rooms are clean. Security for your valuables are also provided for there is a safe in the hotel rooms. Checking out is also commendable. The people in charge of cleaning and checking the rooms are also very honest. My companion unknowingly left her cell phone under the pillow and upon check out the people at the reception area informed us that we left something in the room. Upon verification they returned to us the cell phone. When i return to Hong Kong i will surely stay in Imperial Hotel again."

"This is the first time my husband and I went to Hong Kong for our vacation out of the country. I was a bit worried because I am not sure where is the best place to stay and how to go around Hong Kong. I have heard that Taxis can be very expensive and we are not used to taking the bus. So the only option is via MTR. My sister recommended Royal Park to us since she and her family have been staying with Royal Park a number of times already. She has nothing but praises and tips when staying in Royal Park and in all her stays she has never encountered any problems. So I booked Royal Park here in Agoda and mentioned some requests like the bed type and non-smoking rooms be provided to us. We had a very early flight and arrived at the hotel around 11AM which is way before check-in time. I went to the reception and registered. We were advised to leave our bags so we can explore Hong Kong while waiting for the 3PM check-in. I was asked if we were on our honeymoon and I said no, just for vacation. We were registered and I was told to come back to reception to get the keys from 3PM onwards. The reception and concierge staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were able to explore Hong Kong and got back to the hotel around 7PM already. There are now different set of reception staff so I approached a random staff and gave her my Agoda printout. She checked on the computer and I saw that she went to a pile of neatly arranged keys and got the one for us which has a note attached to it. We were advised that all our requests were approved and we were given a room upgrade! She then asked us what time we want our complimentary red wine to be brought up to our room! Our tired feet forgotten, hubby and me were so happy! In our 3D2N stay, we had the convenience to have access to quite a number of interconnected malls and to the MTR! Hassle free stay! We had a wonderful stay and would stay at Royal Park again on our next trip to Hong Kong."

"My mother went on this trip with her sister to visit a relative living in Hong Kong. Since my mother's flight arrived early in Hong Kong, I requested earlier check in, although the hotel did reply that they can not promise that. However, my mother arrived in the hotel around 9 am and proceed to check in. A very helpful receptionist (His name is Mr John Leung) helped my mother to check into her room right away. By 10 am, my mother and her sister was able to rest for a while before going to a meeting with their relatives. Thank you to John Leung for your helpful assistant. My mom told me the room was good enough for them to rest and the location is very near to the MTR and a shopping mall. Would definitely recommend this hotel for next visit. Keep up the good service. "This hotel is located centrally in, well, Central district of Hong Kong Island. It's some 10 minutes walk from the MTR station and in the heart of HK nightlife and dining area. There are connections to anywhere in the city by MTR, buses and you can get a taxi right in front of the hotel at any time of the day. Many boutique shops around it and no more than 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest mall. Many convenience stores, supermarkets, galleries are just around the corner. Airport express (MTR) is one stop away. To and from airport takes some 30 minutes from this hotel. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Room service was quick and very helpful when we needed something that wasn't already there (wine cooler, ice, glasses, extra pillow...). The internet was really fast and stable. The room is small-ish but that's standard in a city like HK and it was very cosy and didn't feel cramped. Front desk was particularly efficient and helpful every time we stopped there. Check in took less than a minute and check out two seconds, it doesn't get any better than that. They helped us to figure out the neighborhood and suggested a number of places to visit and do while there. We suggest you walk around Central and take MTR to anywhere else you need to go. If going to Ocean park you can take a bus not far from the hotel. All in all it's one of the best boutique hotels in Hong Kong - thumbs up!"

More about Hong Kong

Hong Kong is one of Asia's most relevant cities where an influx of business travelers and tourists continue to come in increasing numbers. Most visitors arrive via Hong Kong International Airport. From here, business travelers can connect to sophisticated airport hotels while tourists transfer to hotels in Hong Kong’s city center.

A proper tour begins on the main island, where the British first established a colony at what has become Central District. Hong Kong South is a hotspot for modern building projects while Hong Kong Island West, Mongkok, and Yau Ma Tei are laid out in traditional Chinese neighborhoods. East of Central, Wanchai holds a booming selection of Hong Kong business hotels as well as a healthy night scene.

From North Point, it's a short jaunt across Causeway Bay to Kowloon City, the city's commercial heart. At the top of the peninsula, Tsim Sha Tsui district hosts ultra-modern shopping malls like Harbour City. This is also where the best selection of accommodation in Hong Kong comes together in a smash of upscale giants, backpacker haunts and classic historic venues.
