This is a capsule hotel located in the subway station. It is prime location from the airport and close to most shopping locations. It’s perfect for the 1 day unlimited public transit card too as those lines all run through. The hotel is simple. If you just need a place to store your luggage and lay your head this is the perfect place. The lobby is dark with counter seating and a large bench to relax a little n eat/drink. This 9h is for both men & women but they still stay separately (no coed). You receive a QR code card for entrance with your corresponding locker/capsule number on it. The numbers are large so no worries about finding your way. The lockers are spacious. A large roller and small roller plus a backpack could fit in there if you wanted. Past the lockers is the communal sink space for getting ready, the showers & restrooms are just beyond that. Throw on the slipper & shirt n pant set they provide (one size fits all) or bring your own pj set, no shoes allowed beyond lockers. Take your bag of towels to the showers, they also provide toothbrush & toothpaste. At the very end of the way are your accommodations. Be aware when booking the capsules are ‘bunk bed’ style so you may have to do a small climb to get up top if you don’t make a special request when booking. The door is a simple shade you pull down so this area does not allow photography or no headphone listening. The lobby & locker area are for the chatting if you’re traveling with others. There are outlets & a light at the far back and a tiny shelf for a phone. The pillow is crescent shaped and you get a small duvet. The area is temperature controlled already so the duvet is smallish but I tossed mine off it was warm enough without (April travels). If you are a light sleeper they provide earplugs in the toiletry bag but you will hear people getting in their bunks or snoring. It’s a comfortable fit overall and it saved me money to spend on other things since I spent more time walking around. For reference I am 5’7” with a thicc athletic build and am able to comfortably flip over to side or belly sleep. Overall this is my third time staying at a 9h location around Japan and they’ve never disappointed. Though out of all 3 this one has the largest locker space. At the others it was a trust exercise in leaving the largest bag out in a designated area. There is no food allowed beyond the lobby so no refrigerator to store anything. They have drinks available for purchase at the front if you missed the vending machines deeper in the metro. Hope you enjoy your stay!
Thank you for staying at Nine Hours Nakasu Kawabata Station. We also appreciate your review. We look forward to welcoming you again. 9h Nakasu-Kawabata Sta
Typical Japanese capsule - clean, efficient, decent amenities., etc. This one has very nice location housed in the same building that has a subway station, close to food options. Now - if you're intending to stay for a couple of days though, they strictly require that you check out every 11AM i.e., every day. (They probably have this information posted on their page that I might have missed.) You can store your luggage with them but if you're feeling lazy for the day, and hoping to sleep longer - you can't stay in your pod. And after your final day, if you have an evening flight - in my case, 8PM, they won't allow you to leave your baggage with them i.e., if you still plan to roam around for your last day in the city, you'll need to lug your baggage with you. Generally ok but not very accommodating - should be ok for one night stays / quick stopovers.
Thank you for staying at Nine hours Nakasu-Kawabata Station. We also appreciate your review. We are very pleased to hear that you appreciated the convenience, cleanliness, and amenities during your stay. However, we apologize for any inconvenience caused regarding check-out time and luggage storage. If you plan to explore the city on your last day, there are coin lockers located inside Nakasu-Kawabata Station, just a short walk from the hotel, so you can head out more easily. We will use your feedback to improve our services in the future. We look forward to welcoming you again. 9h Nine hours Nakasu-Kawabata Station
I stayed for 1 night here and overall experiences was excellent. The lounge or waiting area located in a lobby and pretty small. The toilet and shower area are spacious and clean. The capsule itself may feel a little bit hot, so I ended up opening the curtain a little bit. The locker was far from room so make sure to take your important belonging to your capsule. Location is inside the mall. Near donquiote, Ichiran ramen, and other restaurant. Only 15-20 minutes from Airport. Definitely will book in the future if I go solo travelling again. Thank you so much!
Thank you very much for staying at Nine Hours Nakasugawabata Station and for giving us detailed feedback. I was very happy to read that you were satisfied with the cost performance and your overall stay. Regarding the size of the lobby lounge, the temperature inside the capsule, and the location of the locker, we will use it as a valuable opinion for future improvements. On the other hand, we are honored to receive your evaluation of the cleanliness and location of the shower and toilet facilities. "The words ""I would definitely like to reuse it the next time I travel alone"" are the best encouragement for the staff." We will continue to make efforts to create an environment where you can have a pleasant time, so please stop by when you come near us again. Thank you very much for using our service. I look forward to seeing you again. Nine Hours Nakasu-Kawabata Station
I had a very solid stay at this capsule hotel in Fukuoka. The location is excellent—easy to access public transportation and close to plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and major areas of the city, which made getting around very convenient. The hotel was also impressively clean. Both the capsule area and shared facilities were well maintained, and everything felt organized and hygienic throughout my stay. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a simple, clean, and well-located place to stay in Fukuoka.
Thank you very much for staying with us. We’re delighted to hear that you had a solid stay and found our location convenient for transportation, dining, and exploring Fukuoka. “Super Convenient”
Since I booked 9h nine hours on a weekend, the rate was a bit expensive for a capsule hotel. I paid around *** yen for one night. The hotel was conveniently located near Nakasu-Kawabata Station, and it only took me about 5 minutes to find it. This was my first time staying at a capsule hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities. When I checked in, I was given the option to stay either at a top capsule or a bottom capsule. Since I chose a top capsule, I had to pay an additional 200 yen. I was then given a key card that provided access to the ladies' floor and my personal locker. Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a row of lockers. Inside my personal locker was a bag containing 3 towels, a toothbrush, slippers, and loungewear. Past the locker area was the bathroom area, which had separate cubicles for showers and toilets. Both areas were clean despite many people using them. Each shower cubicle contained a shower space and a changing area. The shower area had its own set of toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). I generally had no complaints about the bathroom facilities. The capsule area was located in another room. Each capsule had a bed, pillow, comforter, two small shelves for personal items, and a charging area (USB and plug) on the headboard. The bed was quite comfortable. My only issue was that the heating was too warm. Overall, I had a pretty good stay here, and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for an affordable and convenient overnight option.
Thank you very much for using Nine Hours Nakasugawabata Station and for giving us your warm and detailed feedback despite your busy schedule. We were very happy to hear that you chose our building for your first stay at the capsule hotel and were satisfied with the facilities, location, amenities and cleanliness. "Especially, I received compliments on the comfort and facilities of the bed, which encouraged all the staff." The 200 yen you paid at the time of check-in is Fukuoka City Accommodation Tax. I'm sorry for the insufficient explanation. Also, if you point out that the air conditioning was too warm, I would like to refer to it as a valuable opinion to improve the temperature control and guidance method in the future. We will continue to strive to create a convenient, comfortable and comfortable space for you to spend time in peace. Also, please use this building when you come to Nakasu/Hakata area. All the staff are looking forward to seeing you. Nine Hours Nakasu-Kawabata S
