Exceptional”
We stayed at a Santiago Bay for 3 nights. The room was clean and spacious with good natural light. The room has a very large fridge as well as a kettle and coffee sachets. There is a private balcony overlooking the bay. The food in the restaurant was ok and could be better, vegetarian options (1) are limited to vegetable platter (very bland and basically boiled vegetables) and margarita pizza with a sweet base but good. The waiting staff are excellent. The hotel grounds are well maintained as are the swimming pools. There are only two pointers around the top pool which is a shame considering how large this area is. A few more loungers and parasols would make for a relaxing shaded afternoon rather than an upright seat in the restaurant. The internet was not the best and did not work for two days but not really a problem. The sea is very shallow and has a lot of sea reeds but still able to swim.

Great Beach View Room”
Five stars because they let me check in early and gave me a room with a balcony, a great view of the beach and sunrise. You can practically sunbathe while in bed. The linens smelled nice and clean. There's also a staircase leading down to the beach. The beach looks better when it's low tide which happens early in the morning until 7am and in the afternoon around 4pm. When it's high tide (around 10 am), there's only a narrow strip of white sand. The seaweed and some plastic litter in the water made it less tempting to swim, but I eventually did swim after I found a clean spot. Sunlight makes the sand look light ashy gray, but it is actually creamy and powdery.

They got very beautiful views from the resort. Staff are nice and helpful. Foods are great a bit pricey, but you can go down the white beach at the left side of the resort and there are eateries or carinderias there where the foods and drinks are cheaper. Our room was nice and clean. We enjoyed their infinity pools, they've got 2. Pools are nice and clean. The resort has many plants and trees. Nice beach, we enjoyed swimming. Beautiful.

PERFECT FAMILY VACATION!”
My second time in this resort and it still is the best resort to stay in Camotes for me. The place is so peaceful, with stunning views of the ocean and lush greeneries surrounding the resort. Their rooms are spacious enough, it's clean and it has everything you need (except for a water heater). Their restaurant serves very good food too! The best part is always, always their infinity pools! Soooo worth it!

Best Hotel Resort in Camotes Island”
Definitely worth every penny. The location is great (white beach) with good room view. The food is also tasty and not too pricey (we love the corned beed and pizzas!). The staffs are friendly and will help you get transpo and boat tickets. The locals are also friendly and will not overprice their charges (hindi nambubudol hahaha) unlike other local destinations. A hidden gem that must visit💖

Friendly staff. Answered all my questions and concerns in timely manner. Our room has an awesome view of the bay. We checked in early at no additional cost. Food at the resto were good and affordable. Staff were also attentive. We enjoyed our stay and achieved the relaxation we wanted. We wished we stayed longer but had to go back to the city. Will definitely be back whenever I visit Camotes.

It was our frist time there and it became so memorable to us that we got attached to the room 😂 it made our stay in Camotes great, the pool's view is great, the place itself is like a paradise in a paradise, the food is GREAT I couldn't get enough of those. Would surely come back!

1st time to travel here in Camotes and staying in Santiago Bay Garden and Resort was a good choice. The Baywiew room is awesome, you’ll have the perfect view once you step out from the room plus its only a few steps going to the restaurant which offers great taste foods in an affordable price. Overall stay was amazing.

21 of us (all family) stayed at this beach resort. We all had a lovely time, beach was nice, the view was fantastic. Food and drinks were amazing as well. Highly recommended for those who want peace and quiet. Only disadvantage - there was a power shortage (of 3-5mins) almost 5 times a day

This resort is amongst the very few existing facilities on Camotes Island that has a degree of scale and the ability to satisfy the expectations of the travellers / holiday makers. The food on offer is good quality and very reasonably priced. The Bay offers fabulous swimming and is not too far from the Ferry Terminal. Surprisingly the breakfast menu does not include much in the way of fresh fruit. However, if you source your own they are more than willing to prepare it for you at no charge. As is customary in the Philippines “marble” surfaces are used extensively inside and outside. . If they become “wet” they are like “ Ice Skating “ services. ( I nearly broke my arm on the main entrance steps ! ) However, all things considered this facility is worth very serious consideration if you a planning a trip to Camotes Island. It’s easily either the best or at worst the second best place to stay.

Kudos to Ms. Agnes”
We decided to stay in Santiago beach resort to celebrate my partners birthday. And i asked for the help of Ms. Agnes w/c i found out was not in the santiago beach resort itself in camotes (after i checked in) , she was in cebu office but she did all her best to make sure that im able to surprise my partner with the cake(my request) . At first there was a problem transporting the cake knowing that it will come all the way to cebu. The only downside is that , when we checked it and the room was shown, we were given the room that was on the corner facing a wall, even though we requested for the bayview, where is the view when it is facing the wall? I asked to be transferred and they transferred us to the real bayview and it was beautiful. Thank you

Great Camotes Vacation”
We had a nice stay at Santiago Bay Resort. We stayed as a family with two kids (12 years and 6 yrs old kids). Ambiance of the place is great! The staff are super responsive and nice. Great food with good variety. Rooms are good, except in my own subjective opinion, they aren't so clean. On our 1st -4th night we upgraded our booking to a lot bigger room and stayed in the Villa Family. On of 1st day the hose of our shower was leaking which made our shower unusable. In fairness, staff acted immediately after we told them about it and they had replaced the hose. My suggestion, that the staff should check all basic room facilities everyday to see everything is working. The aircon was faulty too on the 2nd and 3rd night, which was nobody's fault. Irony is, staff said that the aircon is newly purchased just a month ago. We've moved to Oceanview Family on the 4th night since the Villa Family was booked that day. that particular date was already reserved before we upgraded, thus we needed to move to different room. The room in the ocean view is a lot smaller. Tiles in the bathroom needs thorough cleaning as they have thick layer of stain on the floor. Overall, we had a great, fun and full-packed vacation. The positive outweighs all the flaws.

My husband and I stayed here for our 2nd weeding anniversary. Everything was just perfect-.the beach, the beach-view room which has its own fridge and terrace, the staff who are very friendly, and Saturday night band! We will definitely come back.
