quiet idilic location-good beach”
We went to koh samed for a quiet getaway from bustling pattaya and this little spot was ideal. There wasn't many people at this beach and that's what we we were looking for although a short walk in both directions takes you to other more populated beach resorts.We didn't expect 5 star luxury and we didn't get it but the room was comfortable enough.The meals were okay but it took a while before they arrived (no big deal just a couple more beers while we waited !! )You can get a far nicer and bigger room in pattaya for the same money but this is on an island and you have to expect to pay a little more.To sum up; great location if your looking for peace and quiet, if your after nightlife this is not for you.I'll be going back in may for4days.

So, never quite sure what to expect when you book so I will try and be honest. The staff were fab, particularly the lady on 'reception' she really looked after us. The setting is probably one of the best spots if you like it quiet (which we do) the beach area is nice and clean. It was great not to have to fight for a sunbed and there was no charge. The shack is in a perfect position, very close to the sea with great sea views, food ok and reasonable price. It's very rustic, typical beach hut, we booked a family room and although the walls are thin it is nice and quiet by 10pm no music. With regards to the room, it's no Hilton, it's a typical basic room, AC and fridge with water daily and room cleaned daily, however it was reasonably clean. I have suggested softer mattresses, the lady was great to place a mattress topper as the bed was too hard for us after our first night (hopefully they will do this). I'm not sure whether it's over priced but what it lacks in modern amenities is outweighed by a beautiful setting with very friendly staff. Would come again.

Connecting room instead of Superior double room!”
Be careful because the Superior Double room with breakfast is actually a CONNECTING ROOM with another double room and that is not mentioned any where. The Superior Double room is not a double room, it is a connecting room. There is no privacy because the door doesn't completely close and you can see and hear the people in the other room through a gap between the door and the wall. Not very appropiate for going with your girlfriend. I complained and I asked to be transfered to a real double room. At first they asked me for 1000 baht more because they said the new was more expensive, but I refused since I had booked a double room and finally I didn't have to pay more. Apart from this, everything was great. Good location, beautiful beach and good restaurant.

Quiet little beach getaway”
A relaxing stay in a bungalow with a great view. Room was comfortable and clean and it was reasonable value for money on Koh Samet. The beach it is located on is fairly quiet although there was a boat that departed back to the mainland directly from that beach which was useful. I would stay here again.

beautiful spot but you're on your own”
Great place but you're on your own. The location is really ideal by the water. Located on one of the prettiest beach of the island and easy to get to the other beaches. They barely welcome you. No Hello no goodbye. Rooms haven't been made up for 3 nights. Free WiFi but was down for 2 days (you're on a tiny island). Definitely a great place but a bit expensive for the service.

While the location was idyllic, the hotel was far from! The rooms were awful, gecko poo on the bed, light bulbs missing or not working, very dodgy interior decor, half eaten food left in fridge, curtains which would not close, no maid service etc etc.... Makes me sound like a real princess, but I'm far from! If I found this disappointing, it was!

Bungalow idéalement placé ”
L'ensemble est situé sur une plage idéale pas trop de monde décor de carte postale. Dommage que le resort ne soit pas un peu mieux entretenu. On sent les années qui passent mais c'est une très belle adresse pour les vacances. Les bungalows ont une vue imprenable sur le golfe de Thaïlande

Sejour au Tongta Phaview Resort”
Les points positifs : bungalows situés en face de la mer, très belle plage et on peut nager contrairement à d'autres plages où les coraux sont tellement présents et le niveau de la mer trop bas pour le faire. Les points positifs : l'accueil est décevant, seule la réceptionniste parle à peu près l'anglais et n'est pas du tout chaleureuse. Pas un sourire. Le personnel est peu avenant. Tres bonne qualité de wifi. Pas besoin de remettre sans arrêt leur fichu code. Les points négatifs : pas de buffet au petit déjeuner où on peut choisir à volonté ce que l'on veut. Là, il faut choisir "américan breakfast" et point barre. Mais en réclamant, on peut choisir à la carte sur leur menu mais ils ne le disent pas. Pas de chaînes internationales.
