Exceptional”

The only complaint we had was that the AC wasn't the coldest and the bed was a bit hard for our taste. But overall it was a great place to stay. Lovely location on the beach, good food, friendly staff, pretty decoration. Would definitely go back.

Great location on the beach and just a few hundred yards from the main street with several restaurants and bars. 9/10 Hotel, like most on Samet are a bit pricey. 4/10 Rooms were large but a little dates (there are new ones at a premium). 6/10 Breakfast 5/10. Resort could do with a Pool. Overall okayish

Good location but old facilities”

The hotel has perfect location by the beach. There are nice bars and restaurant only some footsteps away. The hotel itself is quite old and especially the bathroom seems not renovated for years.

Too Much Loud Boat Engine and Boat Traffic Right In Front of the Beach Resort”

I have stayed at this location before, however now there is too much very loud speed boat engine noise and boat traffic dropping off and picking up day beach visitors right in front of the Tonsak Resort, all day long. I was laying on the beach and getting sprayed by boat propeller water wash from when the speed boats exit the area. Complete disregard for anyone trying to enjoy the beach or water. It amazes me that this location is within the Thailand National Park and this is being allowed. If fact the National Army is posted along the beach collecting 200 Thai Baht from each boat drop-off visitor. Tonsak Resort offers these day visitors a lunch package. There is more than 100 of these people each day at Tonsak Resort alone. The other hotels along this beach as well offer these day visitors a lunch package. The entire one mile of Sai Kaew Beach is now affected by these speed boat drop-off's for the day visitors. I would never stay at any hotel on Sai Kaew Beach.

the reception wasn't very nice to us. and for the price we paid for our "superior" bangalo, ours was mediocre. Also we requested a king size bed, and instead we got twin beds together. I would not recommend that resort..

When they give the key at the check in, they didn't tell us that there is no 24hour reception. We left the key before we go out and then we cannot go inside the room for sleep. Old furniture. Sand on the bed everywhere
